The ancient Indian Sages designed and created the symbols of Gods and Goddesses with different number of heads, hands, and instruments, to explain the innate nature of the different aspects of the Formless Universal Consciousness, for the benefit of human beings with the limited faculty of the five normal senses, mind, and consciousness.
It is easier to focus the mind on a beautiful picture than contemplate on an abstract idea. The images of natural symbols of different dimensions, shape, size, color, and texture are stored in the primary, secondary,tertiary, and associated areas of the human brain. Hence, they can be easily recognised, remembered, recalled, reviewed, and reinforced.
Flagship Project
Teertham 108
Teertham 108 is proposed as a series of approximately fifteen-minute immersive, experiential documentaries which will take the viewers on an audio-visual journey through the intricate carvings, sculptures, paintings that adorn the temple walls and ceilings, and delve into the history, stories and legends associated with each temple. The aim is to interview experts, scholars, temple authorities and devotees to provide insight into the spiritual significance of temples and their relevance to humankind across ages.
Each episode would make us dive into the temple's overall perspective of its existence and importance. There would be a prominent voice-over and corresponding music that will guide us through the entire episode.
